The other school of thought is “not every business is perfect – it is how they handle the problem that determines if they will get your business in the future”!!
Yes ... Probably
Maybe ... Depends
Probably Not

I voted yes, probably.
We just disembarked the much loved Celebrity Solstice yesterday.
We had a lovely cruise but not fantastic.
Service was great the food was mostly only ok. Same standard as Royal Caribbean I would say.
The much hyped Blu was good the first part of the cruise the second half it was really bad....the service was non existent and the food so and so.
The specialty restaurants are better on RCCL.
I know what good food and service is having worked in the hotel industry for over 25 years.
Would I try Celebrity again. Yes, I would.
BUT, why should we give them a second chance??
Ashore, at home, when we go to a restaurant and get bad food and service do we go back??? No
If we stay in a hotel and the experience is not to our liking do we book again at the same hotel?? No
The same goes for all businesses that gives us a bad experience.
So, why do we go back to cruise ships which has not given us a good enough experience???

For me it would depend. I have only had one below par cruise on QE2 and that was in 2004 right after a refit. That did not put be off but I could see why a first timer might have thought "never again".
We all know, things go wrong, but it's how the line deals with it that matters.
I had a bad experience on a coach (bus) holiday, we were picked up at 7.30am and taken to a central point where we joined the tour bus. At 11am we were about 10 miles away from where I live so that put off taking another holiday with them.
If there is a choice between two cruise lines offering the same cruise at much the same price, I am sure most of us would not pick the one where we had the bad experience. However, if they offered the right cruise at the right price I am sure most people would be willing to that the risk.
Also totally hear you, Joey!
We had our worst cruise ever on Carnival Glory ... unfortunately a B2B!
Never thought we'd book another Carnival ... but bottom line we have because of the convenience of Charleston & JAX for shorter, extra 7-Day cruises.
Not so sure at all the convenience of these ports is worth it to us ... but we probably will again at some point.![]()

We have given one cruiseline a second chance and still have the same impression as the first time we cruised them...just not our style of cruising.
A second chance yes...but a third would be very doubtful.
