Hi On the large megaliners (i try to avoid these, although it's getting harder these days) it's the only way to know you are on a ship and not at a land based resort.

Love it, doesn't bother us at all. Expect it on the ocean
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

I enjoy it if it is not too much or too prolonged. A full day of it can be very tiring.

I'm always disappointed when we have calm seas. I love the motion of the ocean. I look forward to it!

I guess I am in the minority! I love calm seas. We take inside midship cabins, so that helps if the sea is rough. At night, I can't sleep when I hear all that squeaking from the ship's movement.

Love the motion. I sleep so good on a ship. And I'm pretty sure it's not the beds.

Absolutely loved the rocking on Sensation - made me feel so close to the ocean. Also, helped me get to sleep better!

Am I the only one who hears creaking & squeaking at night? Is it possible that only the inside cabins make all that noise?
