    Minimum cabin you would book

What is the minimum catagory of cabin you would book for a cruise? Not what you would like to have and sometimes book ... just what you would at least need to have.

Good Location is intended to mean a good location for you.

It's a Poll so please be sure to mark your choice ... and make comments if you wish.

I chose Ocean View - while we will continue to book balconies, that's the lowest I would ever consider on any cruise.

I need a view. I also chose Good Location.

Any inside, we just sleep there like in a cocoon.
Our purpose is to experience the ship and meet people.
Can't do that while inside a cabin.

I chose any inside as my cabin is just for sleeping and a quick nap after an excursion. While I do like the views and balconies especially when I get up in the morning, I can live without it if the cost difference is too much. As the cheaper inside cabins are usually on the lowest decks you get the least motion in them too as being in the center and low down will be the least motion in rough seas, the only advantage to these cabins.

I'm claustrophobic, so inside cabins for me really hold no appeal. Our first two cruises were in one....I was able to deal with it, but we also were outside a lot. Since we were upgraded to a suite before actually cruising in the first balcony we ever books, I'm spoiled as well! :p I voted for a balcony, but I have to be honest....I'm seriously thinking of an oceanview which would allow us to go to the Panama Canal sooner, however for the most part it would be a balcony or better.

I voted for balcony with a good location. Although I have never had one.
We usually get a JS (mini-suite) or larger. I just love the space.

I voted any balcony even though when finding a cruise it is any balcony + location. However, we would drop location like a bad habit if we could not get at least a balcony...I believe that is what you are looking for as an answer to the poll?

It has gotton to be all about LOCATION for us.

We'd actually rather have a balcony in a good location than a mini-suite in a location that was inconvenient for us.

Fortunately, we can often get a mini-suite in a good location when we book early enough.

Honestly, I would not want to be one of the 4 adults.
