Would you book a cruise with no ports of call?

Would you book a cruise with all days at seas and no ports of call embarking from and returning to the same port?

You bet I would! We love sea days and the transatlantics can go 5-6 or 7 days at sea without a port call...pure pampered heaven!

So a 7 day or longer cruise to nowhere would get our attention, for sure!

I agree with everything Char said. I love the sea days, and always tell Bob the more the better. That's one of the main reasons we do transatlantic cruises--for the sea days. We have sailed before when we didn't do any excursions and treated the ports like sea days.

We have just done an 11 night transatlantic with one port of call, and would do the same again, with no port of calls. Cruising is what we enjoy.

    Yes, Yes, YES!!! for sure.
The Captain could just anchor off the coast somwhere for a week or two and I would be just as happy.

I would probably do that with a group of women, rather than with my husband, but yes. And like the transatlantic cruises, it doesn't have to return to the same port. There are usually some short cruises to nowhere right after NewYears, in between the ships' holiday cruises and their regular itineraries. And on the US West coast, in the fall and spring you will find one way short cruises between the So Cal ports and Seattle and Vancouver. Sometimes those have a stop or two included.

Yes, my first ever cruise was a two night cruise to "nowhere" and I would do the same again.

I missed out on a special three-day "Cruise to Nowhere" a year or so ago, because I'd already booked something else.

The goup I would have gone with almost universally reported a wonderfully grand time! There was a theme to the cruise, which appealed to a great many folks, although some not so enamored with the theme would have, perhaps, felt overwhelmed!

In answer to the basic question, "I'd research how a "Cruise to Nowhere" might fit my lifestyle of the moment!

I would too. I have been to so many ports now, that I would be happier with skipping them all and just having sea days, where there is more to do on the ship.

I enjoy ports and sea days equally however, I would not book a cruise without sea days but I would book a cruise without ports..

I agree with everyone too. I enjoy the atmosphere of the ship.
