Thread: Do you read different types of books on cruises than you do at home?

Definitely no. I have a color Nook that I read on and the majority of what I read are magazines, biographies, cookbooks and on occasion, really trashy romance (Me too KayAnnie!). I love my Nook and I cannot wait to bring it on my upcoming cruise. It worked awesome on a road trip we took in our convertible, so I think it will be fine on the cruise!

I voted Yes. At home I'm more likely to read bios and non-fiction. Cruising is usually Sports books and lighter reading or novels - usually books that lend themselves to reading small bits at a time.

no just anything lying around at home that i havn't read yet.

I've got varied taste in books-I brought The Hunger Games along with me on my last cruise, thinking I'd be too preoccupied with everything else there was to do on the ship..I stayed up late every night reading and finished it before the end of our cruise!

Now that I am back I can report that we took 10 books with us, but only read 4. Too much time writing my blog to get in all the reading I wanted.
