Question How to create a poll

    1. First, think out your question and how many answer options.
    2. Click on "new topic."
    3. Title your thread. It helps others if you put your subject in your title.
    4. Type your question in the box.
    5. Scroll down to "Post a Poll" and cllick on "yes, post a poll..."
    6. Type in the number of poll options desired.
    7. Click on "submit new thread."
    8. A page will come up where you can type in the "poll question."
    9. Type in the options.
    10. Then you can add a "poll timeout" for a number of days or ignore it if you want the poll to go indefinitedly.
    11. Under the miscellanous options, you can allow "multiple choice" answers or make the votes "public." Or you can ignore those too.
    12. Then "submit new poll"

    Voila, you've created a poll!

Patty .... Excellent info on how to correctly creat a poll.

Listing the choices (options) for folks to vote is extremely important. Without these, it's just a question and not actually a POLL.
