Thread: Shipboard Bill

Just wondering about shipboard bills.....in the four cruises we have taken, we have only had only one *OMGOSH* shipboard bill....but that's only because I stay pretty dilegent when it comes to keeping our costs under control. I'm curious to what people consider an average bill for themselves, especially since on some cruise companies you can almost walk on and never have another thing to pay.

I am the first vote and that is 1 -500, which is our norm, closest to 500. A couple of times we di get close to 1000 but those were longer cruises and did more ship excursions. We watch pretty close what we are spending on board.

We are not drinkers, so besides tips, soft drinks we buy photos and some souveniers. I bring cash for gambling as it is away to limit my losses if there are any. I checked 1-500 but as I am writing this it may have been the next category as things add up fast.

I voted $1-500, as well.

We usually have so much OBC our expenditures add up to very little. For instance, our next cruise has a whopping $775 OBC! I kinda like that!

a few hundred , but the biggest item are the crew gratuities.

I am usually between $200 and $300 depending on the length of the voyage.

I have the advantage of getting 8 hours free internet which saves a small fortune.

When I cruise with DH we're usually in the $501 - $1,000 range.

When I cruise with my friends I drop down to the $1 - $500 range.

We do and buy whatever we wish!

Usually $400 to $500 for us on a seven day cruise. Maybe less, when I prepay tips, tours and specialty restaurants.

It varies for us, but the average bill is about 700 or so. And that includes obc if we have any.
