Ok, I ticked the first two. I had a business trip flight cancelled and moved to a later time.
Any separately my wife had to spend a night in Heathrow.

Fortunately, we weren't and are not personally acquainted with anyone who was inconvenienced by that eruption.

So sorry that you and your wife were!

Someone who works where I work was on holiday in Turkey and got stuck there for an extra week. As he was on a package the tour company had to foot the bill so he was quite happy.

One of my clients lost her dream trip to Italy because there was simply no way to get there in time. She had no insurance (because "there's no way I'm no going!") and lost several thousand dollars, though some operators were very gracious in letting her cancel on short notice with no penalty.
