Thread: Do you do most things with your S.O. while cruising?

Do you do most things with your SO (Significant Other) when you're on a cruise?

LuLu great poll. I said yes most of the time. This next cruise though I'll most likely be doing a lot more on my own, since she does not want to try scuba.

We like the same things with the exception of the production shows. Once in awhile I will go to the show and Bob will hit the casino or go back to the cabin to read.

I ticked yes mostly , there are occasional things we don't attend together every time, eg cooking demonstrations .

Most, Dickie takes a nap & I shop

We do everything together except I play in poker tournaments and I like to play craps. She only plays slot machines. She likes Karaoke and I don't sing, but I may pop in for a few minutes, usually I gamble while she sings tghere or at piano bar. Otherwise all excursions, shows, meals, on board activities(trivia, minigolf, ping pong etc.) we do together.

Bob and I often go our separate ways during the day. He's good at trivia, I'm not. I like the cooking demonstrations, etc., he doesn't. Sometimes we do take our Kindles to the Observartion Lounge and read while we're waiting for our cabin attendant to finish with our room. Sometimes there are lectures he's interested in and I'm not, and vice versa. We always have our meals together. After dinner, we usually spend some time together (show or after dinner drinks with friends), but after that, I usually return to the cabin and he goes to the Casino for a while. That works out great because I can get ready for bed without stepping all over him.

On At Sea days he gets up and does his own thing -- coffee card bars, breakfast, maybe the gym, etc. I sleep late! Normally, I meet him at a favorite place between 11 & 11:30 where we have a few drinks, chat with others, and then go to lunch in the MDR as late as possible.
There are normally a few times when one wants to do something the other doesn't.

Other than those, we're together ALL the time. Fortunately, we enjoy doing the same sort of things.

Not very often we go seperate ways, do everything together.

We do 99% of everything together. He just doesn't like to join me when I do the laundry
