Thread: When do you perfer the Mediterrean? And why?

I also picked spring and fall. The summer is way to hot and humid for me, and with schools out, all of the tourist sites and ports are overcrowded. I'm not a pool person, but love to sit out on my veranda and read, which is almost impossible to do during the summer.

I've never been to the Mediterranean after late October, so have no rating for winter. The earliest we've sailed there is late April/early May.

I was in the Med Aug/Sept and it was quite warm and humid. However we still had an awesome time. The next time, Holy Land cruise, was last half of Nov. Weather was great, except for some rain in Sorrento, no cold weather, used our balcony all days and evenings!
