On a cruise ship what are your favorite People Watching things?

I love seeing little kids dressed up for formal nights! They are very serious and very adorable. I also like to see grownups on formal night, but for different reasons.

Some of things listed are things I DON"T like to see, like people complaining. I always feel sorry for the crew.

I had to select many of the choices.

Just what people wear sometimes.

I chose the last two as I enjoy seeing people happy and always point out to my wife look how happy they are. The buffet still surprises me when they pile on the food, how hard is it to get up a second time if you are still hungry. I know when I was young I probably was a little guilty of piling on at cocktail hours at weddings because I wanted to taste a little of everything, but I learned to make 2nd (and 3rd and 4th) visits.

Being around Happy People is a real joy and makes us happy! I love seeing quite old couples walking around holding hands. My DH will often tell me that will be us one day.

We have walked around holding hands since we were married

Formal night, check out the young ladies that have never worn high heals before. Add the sway of the ship and after about an hour they're all carrying thier shoes. Cute kids!!

Watching some people when they have free champagne (not at all good) is amusing. Often, they'll follow a server with a tray of champagne around and keep grabbing as many glasses as possible. You'd think they were passing out "The Fountain of Youth".

On Cunard you get some very interesting outfits and not just the women On one trip there was a group of three men who walked around during the day in identical very loud shirts.

I like to watch the sailaway so I am usually on deck and when they make the announcement for so and so to contact the pursers office, I usually have a look to see if I can see anyone running. I have seen few who only must made it. On my most recent cruise a crew member missed the ship and had to come out on the pilot boat.

It's amazing how much people put on their plates at the buffet and how many of them leave most of it.
