For us it is a little of each. Location is important but if there is a big difference in price, that becomes a factor. We always book a balcony cabin these days. I can usually find a balcony in the area of the ship we want to be in at just a little more than the lowest priced balcony. As the ships have gotten longer and longer where you are located can make is big difference in how much walking you do during the course of a day.

I voted other. I prefer a balcony but guess I really don't care where it is.

I would never book a balcony unless the line has no smoking in cabins and balconies. Celebrity is the only I know thet does this.

I like doing a lot of walking as that is how I keep from gaining weight on cruises.

Me too! We don't mind inside rooms. Gives us more reason to be out & about on the ship. We like to do a lot of walking to burn off calories too.

Okay, for us it is the price. We are hardly in our Cabin, only to sleep, take a shower and change. So, Location is not so important. Specially when it means cruising or not cruising at all.
