Our first balcony cabin was in April of 2001 on the Radiance OTS. One year earlier, I was flying a kite on the Vision OTS as we were getting ready to sail from Seattle. A ships officer approach and informed be that I had to bring it down because it was not allowed. If I was to lose the kite I would be polluting the ocean. At that time I had been flying kites on ships for quite a few years. On one occasion I way flying one off the back of a ship while sailing under the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge as we left New York. I was tough to gauge how high the kite could be an make it under the bridge. I once had 3 kites flying when a lighting storm hit near Grand Cayman. It was a mad dash to bring them all in while I was getting drenched.

I'm one of the "elevator" people! After watching full elevators go by for 5 minutes I'll hop on the next elevator no matter which direction it's going!

Probably the closest I have come to any of those may be the elevator thing. But usually by accident.

only one i could vote for

ekevator -- over the last few years we have had no choice but to get the elevator going up -- after we are up -- just stay on the now crowded elevator in order to get down to the deck where we can disembark on the last day
