I get 15 days per year, but that's PTO time so it's combined vacation AND sick time together. We get 6 federal holidays and work the rest. Good thing is that I am rarely ever sick *knock on wood* so I get to use the 15 days for vacation. I have only taken 1 sick day in almost 5 years. In October, my PTO will increase to 20 days per year.

Working so many hours on a regular basis (45-65 per week), I really feel that I don't get enough time off at all. Am working toward a plan to change careers and not feel the pressure of working so much and relaxing too little. Life is for living!

You guys work crazy hours!!

I get 4 weeks a year. (I work for a Norwegain company in Spain) pluss 16 "fiesta days" or "red days" which I can choose if I want to take in lieu or get paid for.
I work 8 hours a day 5 days a week. The company allow 80 hours overtime pr. year.
This year since I am getting married I get 15 days more.

In Norway now they are acually talking about cutting down the work day to only 6 hours pr. day!!!!

I currently get 3 weeks. I pick my 4th week up in another 5yrs.. Then I am maxed out.
The wife just picked up her 3rd week..
Due to my job, (chemical Factory) I have to save 1 week for a plant shut down if/when they have one..
So I usually do a either our family vacation or fishing trip to Canada and squander a week here and there. But have been using 1 week for cruising lately..
I think the fishing trip is going to go to the back burner from now on..

I used to work 9 -5, Monday through Friday, I now work Monday thru Thursday from 8 - 5 and Friday 8 - noon. My idea to change the hours, we have a vacation place in the PA mountains that's 2-1/2 hours away so that jump on the Friday traffic makes a big difference vs. fighting rush hour traffic!

I get 8 weeks off, one week is sick time and 7 are vacation. I've never been that sick that I can't go into work, small office with only 2 people, and I can't carryover any time to the next calendar year, so I use my sick time as "planned" sicknesses.
