Thread: Passport - do you have one?

well i guess im the odd man out... my wife and i dont have passports I have been considering getting them for our upcoming cruise though. We are going to several islands this cruise and my concern has grown. Any thoughts? should i go ahead and try to get them before our upcoming cruise in October?
What kind of cost is involved?

I've had one since becoming a US Citizen in 1994, and had it renewed in 2004 for our cruise. I had no idea than that US citizens didn't need a passport to travel to certain places and I was surprised at that.

I've had one since I was 16, in fact I applied for it on my 16th birthday. I'm on my 2nd passport now.

I don't just use it for travel, I also use it for other identification purposes like for the I-9 at work.

My aunt's glad I made her renew hers before our cruise last year because she leaves for Sydney next Monday - which she wouldn't have been able to do if she didn't already have a passport.
