Thread: What was your worst cruise experence?

When I was on Carnival 2 people pretended to be my friend. (I was in the teen club that time.)

Getting off the ship is my worst cruise experience!

Not being able to find food on a cruise ship and wondering if we would starve!

For those in the USA who are used to the big lines; do your research before you book a cruise on a smaller cruise line.

We had a problem with our room a few cruises back...there was a leak that they were slow to do anything about, a mold/mildew smell because of the leak soaking into the carpet, and a problem with the toilet. Finally, on the last night they moved us to a different room.

Probably finding ourselves on a ship with almost 2000 bingo players. When we boarded, there was a big sign in the front welcoming passengers to the World Tourney of Bingo. These were die hard addictive types. More of a minor convenience just staying out of their paths.

The other time was when there was an extended family in which the parents spent much of the time in the casino, leaving the kids to do whatever they wanted to, which was to cause problems for the other passengers.

But other than that, I wouldn't mind going back on another cruise.

Our worst was the Fruit flies episode in Barcelona.. however Celebrity turned the negative into a positive with in just 36 hours..

I got a "bug" on one cruise to Alaska. It was a pretty awful experience and I had to hole up in a Vancouver hotel next to a hospital for 24 hours. Luckily, I got sick the night before we left the ship and Vancouver is a lovely city...which I made sure to tour after I recovered.

I never have had a Worst cruise experience. I have had ports cancelled, AC not working, toilet not flushing, no hot water in shower, long lines, lumpy beds, rain, rude table mates, cold food, bad service, etc, etc, but none of these things ever ALL happened on the same ship or same cruise and the good ALWAYS out weighed the bad. The worst vacation at sea is always better than the best vacation on land
