the concept is o.k. providing it doesn't replace the main dining room.
it's always been the norm on all but the luxury lines to pay for better than standard food, service and ambiance.

I do. I think it is a great option for any that want to experience all options on a ship. My favorite is Chops on RC
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

Have always enjoyed doing a speciality resturant on a cruise. It offers a more intimate, upscale, better food experience and a way to spoil ourselves.

I love having them. We're taking a cruise on an older ship next week and am disappointed they don't have one. The Solstice and Equinox have wonderful specialty restaurants--5 of them, and we tried them all. It was fun to get together with friends who you aren't sharing a table with for dinner.

I have put not sure, I don't object to them but I don't see the point of paying extra when the food in the dining room is wonderful anyway.

I think you pay enough for the ALL INCLUSIVE cruise where all food should be included. NCL use to have some free specialty restaurants and I tried a couple. The expense of the restaurants cannot be that much more and should be included.

I enjoy the concept for sure. You aren't rushed, the service is usually impeccable and the food is a plus. Chops...here I come...next week

I put "Not sure", since we've never tried one.

In theory, it should be pretty nice, and worth it, but, alas, the menus we've seen are too limited for us.
