I love sea days! Usually I sleep late and enjoy a relaxing breakfast on my balcony. On port days I often enjoy sleeping late and staying on the ship. There is nothing like having the whole ship to yourself, well almost.

Staying in bed's such a waste! There's a beautiful ship to enjoy and a beautiful ocean to wonder at!

I voted for me but My DH is always up before sunrise on a cruise ship! He loves watching the sunrise, to him that is a big part of his cruise

Me, I get up and watch them on port days but sea days I catch up on my lost sleep LOL

Well my answer isn't on the poll. I usually wake up inbetween 8am and 9am.

We are up and having hot refreshment in the Lido as the nightwatchman maked his last rounds. We usually speak (I learned some Indonesian so I could speak to the crew) and get acquainted before the pax start coming in. Besides I wouldn't want to miss a sunrise, they are so beautiful!!

We try to get up early, but don't always make it!

7 - 8 is about right for us.

I usually request a pot of coffee or breakfast depending on my mood to be delivered to our cabin at 6:50. Room service usually calls to make sure we will let them in about ten minutes before that. That is my wakeup call

!

By the time they get there, I am presentable (well, at least decent) and ready to start my day with coffee on the balcony. DH will have already been up, and taken a stroll and either will go back to bed, or will join me.

Generally we let the sun decide. No alarms for us on vacation, unless we've got an early excursion booked.
