The first time we went we spent the night in LA. To tell you the truth, it didn't help with jetlag at all. LAX is only a few hours away from DFW, and the hassle of collecting luggage twice isn't worth it. The second time we went we got to Tahiti just in time to get on the ship, and adrenaline and excitement kept us going just fine until bedtime. It was day two when we felt tired. I think the ideal thing to do would be to fly there and spend a day in Tahiti before getting on the ship...but it's so expensive it really makes you think twice about that idea! |
