Thread: No Port Stops Here, Please!

Which of these places would YOU rather NOT have port stops? (Multi - mark all that all that apply)

Your comments would be appreciated as well.

Have to go with Ocho Rios. The last time there I was swarmed by a large gang of about six tall blacks, pulling my arms, wanting to sell me drugs or meeting their sisters for some "action". This was less than a block from the secure area. I was alone outside a shop while DW was inside shopping. They wouldn't leave me alone. I told them I didn't do drugs and was too old for any sex, and they finally left.

I guess so, Neal. Another reason to quit smoking. If I hadn't been standing by myself outside smoking a cigarette, it might have never happened.

They can eliminate any Jamaica ports as well as Colombia. Not much in Colon unless you take a tour of the Canal.

The others are so so. The smaller islands offer nice beaches if you are a beach person (which I'm not)

I didn't get to vote in this poll....

Yesterday, I posted this poll but did NOT vote at that time because I had get ready for company and to watch football.

This morning the ballot came up with the "Vote Now" .... but when I began making clicking my selections, it took me to a screen which said I'd already voted.... (The ballot to vote doen't come up when you've already voted.)

Wonder if anyone else has had this problem?

This is the first I have heard of this happening LuLu!

Did you try it more than once---going off the thread and coming back again?
Tell me your votes and I can manually add them for you.

Yes, Char, you're so right! That's EXACTLY what happened! I sent Gene some frubals on his post there before I tried to vote. (Next time, I'll know to vote first and frubal later. )

If it's not too much trouble to add them manually, here's how I would have voted:

Cartagena ... Colon ... Dominica ... Mo Bay, Jamaica ... St.Vincent ... Other
