    Your "Extra Cost" on Ships

Cruise ships have all sorts of ways for us to spend Extra Money while aboard.

Where do you spend yours? (Multi -- mark all that apply)

Please, if you wish, make comments -- where you spend the most, least, ... etc.

Our largest on board expense by far is Bar/Lounge/Booze!

Shore Excursions and Speciality Dining are always rather big expenses for us.

The CASINO ... totally depends on Lady Luck!

We normally make small purchases in the Shops.
May buy one or two Photos.

Never-- Art Auctions ... Spa/Salon ... Tux Rental (already have one) ...

Marked OTHER because DH does always give tips "over & above" ... also early & often.

You are my kinda couple. This last cruise on the Zuiderdam, our 10 day on board account, the final bill for bar was $2,300. That did include the bottle of wine my wife had at dinner each night, but it was the drinks in the casino, lounges, and poolside that really added up.

After our first cruise, when we got the bill and I fainted, I try to make sure we don't over do it anywhere. Our biggest expenditure is normally the specialty restaurants.

We don't do too much onboard spending these days. We have begun to enjoy Specialty Dining but I don't drink as much as I once did.

I always do the ships tours and with these European cruises the tours are a lot more than the Carribean.

I am a sucker for those ship pictures. They do get costly but I have never regretted any that I have bought as I look over my cruise photo albums.

I do enjoy the casino and bring a certain amount of cash for that purpose. I do have to limit my time and spending there. I enjoy bingo and have won at it. I tend to play it more when I cruise with Jan.

Never spend on art or the spa, girls don't need tuxes, will brouse in the shops and buy sometime, usually have at least one drink each day, have never tried specialty dining.

Interesting topic. We each have our preferences.

My largest expenditure is definitely the spa. Love to have a few massages!

We spend a few dollars in the casino (very few!) We don't buy drinks, but have a little wine some of the evenings (not all).

We spend a little in the shops, depending what we find (sometimes more, sometimes less)

We have taken excursions, especially in Europe.

We have never bought art or rented a tux.

Only once did we go to the Specialty restaurant.

Only once did we buy a photo.

I guess that covers it. Our bill is not usually too big.

Bars, Dickie drinks more on the ship than he does at home, shop, I love shopping, and extra tipping Always under a grand
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.
