We did the Sting Ray City tour in Grand Cayman -- even though I can't swim -- I hung over the railing of the boat to get some fantastic pictures of DH petting 2 of them at the same time.

Hopefully, your post will encourage others who can't swim to go and SEE the stingrays!

This picture of me was taken in Sting Ray City about 5 years ago. The area just away from the rays & people was loaded with barracuda; feeding on squid that drifted away.

At one time I used the picture for my avator for about 6 month.

Also encountered rays while snorkling in the Galapagos Islands this summer. A different type that Grand Carmen, don't know the name, but they had a larger snote.
