    You get an entirely different feeling opening up the balcony door and stepping out on the balcony when you get up. There are so many sights we would have missed without the balcony.....

    But you are right, I remember seeing other islands and an island we just left longer. Also to just people watch as you are in port. Or look around the island in port before walking around it.

    We saw the cliffs surrounding the bay at St. Johns which we would have missed if we had not been in a balcony cabin. The cliffs were so close that it felt that the ship would scrape them at any moment. It was so peaceful and calmleaving at first light of the morning......

    Then there was leaving Cork, Ireland and seeing the last bit of land slip away. It is the same sight that the people on the Titanic had as they were beginning their ill fated cruise.
