I couldn't answer this as I have no idea. I have never paid any attention to when they are changed.

I couldn't vote as HAL has different policies on their ships.

Some ships the sheets are changed every 3 days -- others -- it is every 5 days.

Wow, interesting poll. One of the things I LOVE about cruising is having clean sheets frequently. At home, I only change the sheets weekly (always on Saturday) and I consider it a luxury to have fresh sheets more frequently. I've always thought they changed the sheets daily on my cruises.

that's so funny because i remember laying in bed on my last cruise and thinking wonder when they change the sheets since it was a 12 day cruise. they never seemed unclean so whatever they were doing seemed to be working.

How many of you hang up the towels to let your cabin steward know that he doesn't have to change them? We usually do.

Patti, it doesn't seem to matter! If it has been used the steward still changes it whether it's hanging up or not. At least on Celebrity and Royal Caribbean....that's my experience.

I agree, Char. I've hung them on Carnival as well and the steward still replaces them with clean. I really don't feel as bad on cruise ships, having fresh linens all the time since they are washed in reclaimed sea water anyway. Yes, I know they burn fuel to generate the electricity and I do feel badly about that.

I couldn't vote on the poll either. I have no idea how frequently they change the sheets?

BUT, my normal routine is get showered before dinner every night on cruises anyway so the only thing I've done is eat and go to a show or casino so it wouldn't bother me so long as they were clean when I boarded

As to the towels, I've found the same thing about hung up ones getting changed! I think they should just remove their conservation cards from the bathrooms
