Got to agree on this. Never had the problem on either HAL or Celebrity.

We don't have to be right by the pool, maybe that s why we seem to not have any problem in finding chairs. We were just on the Solstice the latter part of March and for the first time we actually did have a time in locating some lounges that were in the sun. Sometimes we just go down to the outside promenade and move the chairs nearer to the railing so we can sit in the chair. It is sooo much quieter there anyway.

Last cruise was on the Constellation - 11 days and there were chair hogs all around. I need to sit in the shade and even those were taken. Celebrity actually enforced the 30 minutes rule. If you are gone for more than 30 minutes, the pool attendants will remove your stuff. Worked for me!

Wish they would have done this when I was on Celebrity to Hawaii
