We thought the Freedom of the Seas would be too big for us, but found that we had a great time. I'm willing to try anything (almost) once.

Hubby has a few requirements for a cruiseship: 1) fairly new 2) not small 3) a self-service laundry
The Oasis will be new, it's big (but it may be way too big for us, the biggest ship we've gone on is 115,000 gt), but it doesn't have a laundromat. Hubby likes to keep the luggage down, but given an allergy to detergent that one family member has, we need to be able to have our laundry washed in allergen-free detergent. So I guess we won't be going on this ship.

You do know that you have work to do on a FAM trip, right Lars?
Yes, mixing buisness with pleasure, how wonderful
To have my passion as my work would be perfect. I know I would be very good at it. Maybe I should start up as a TA??!!!

GONE CRUISING - BRILLIANCE OF THE SEAS
I would just love to see how a day at sea would be. My wife thinks the ship is to big.
As Sue said lots of bells and whistles. Are there Charges for most of the venues?.
Embarkation and debarkation wouldn't it be a nightmare?
Can you imagine looking for a lounge chair by the pool.
Wish I could join you have a great trip
Going out of Miami it would definitely be a nightmare. Ft. Lauderdale is a lot better.
It will be interesting. It is a huge ship. It just amazes me the things they are doing with these "floating cities!"
When we go on the Freedom or the Liberty, I've never had a problem getting a lounge chair.
Not sure what charges will be yet for anything. That will also be interesting to see.
I don't have to worry about that as I won't be zip ling or anything like that.

Oasis Of The Seas Inaugural B2B - 12/1/'09 - 12/12/'09
We will not be sailing on the Oasis OTS. As others have said, it is just toooooo big for us. I won't even sail on the Freedom class ships, for the same reason. I did do a 2 night preview sailing on the Freedom OTS, when it debuted, and I didn't care for it. Also, DH is disabled and walking long distances is difficult for him. When we were on the Freedom OTS, it took us 15 minutes to get from our cabin to the buffet. It was too much walking around for him, so I can't even imagine what the Oasis OTS would be like.

A "no" for me. I'll take the Voyager class at a much cheaper rate.
