Three years ago, room stewards were servicing our rooms every time we left it. Now, it's serviced twice a day. The food was better too. Lobsters were larger and juicier, now they are small and not as tasty. On my last cruise, I didn't even order it.
No, not at all, and in fact it is better
Yes, service has gotten worse the last few years.
Service has not changed.

I beleive that the service has gotten somewhat worse. Maybe because there are so many more ships on the oceans that we see notice the poor service. By this I mean that there are more newer employes that are not very experienced with the cruising public. Also the cruise lines are cutting back on everything(training) and more demanding of there employes. But htis is very different from one cruise line to another.
Reading something 100 times is worth less than seeing it once. Enjoy life at sea....

And take in consideration the size of the ships. It takes a lot more staff to run things and things are not as intimate as they used to be. (Cabin stewards assigned to individual cabins instead of groups of stewards assigned to banks of cabins, less personalized touches in the main dining since so many lines are moving to open instead of assigned seating, and similar)
