Have done both the Alaskan cruises and the Hawaiian one.

We love Alaska and all the natural beauty -- that's my choice.

I agree with Char. You should combine it with a land tour with the cruise last for time to relax.
Alaska was my first cruise and I loved it. When we did Hawaii we flew over, spent some time in Honolulu, then cruised the islands and 5 days at sea returning to Ensenada.
I definitely love warm weather and all that goes with it, but I would chose Alaska.

Before I answer let me say... I have never been to Hawaii and it is on my to do list. But my answer would have to be ALASKA!!!! So scenic, majestic, pure, breathtaking!!! I went back when I was single a few years ago... and this summer I am taking my husband and my Mom back with me!!! Of all the places I've been around the world... absolutely nothing compares to Alaska.
    Happy Travels,

We have cruised Alaska twice. Once we did the 7 night cruise & 1 night in Anchorage. Then we did the 7 night cruise & a 5 day land tour both with Celebrity. It is just beautiful & breath taking !!

We love Hawaii, but have never cruised. We go about every 3 years for 2 &1/2 - 3 weeks. Hate to use all that time on a ship. I would rather fly to Hawaii & stay & enjoy all.

No matter which one you do, they are both spectacular.

Hey Carmen--- welcome to our friendly cruise community!

There is just something about Alaska that keeps calling you back, isn't there? Hoping to find a decently priced cruise for September...that would be our 6th Alaska cruise.

Alaska has loads of beauty and the inland passage is very enjoyable from your Balcony stateroom

I don't think I would ever cruise Hawaii. Maybe because I have been there so many times(20+).The Islands are way to close together and I enjoy the cruise days at sea. The only Plus of the Hawaii cruise is you don't have to spend $$$$ on for food and drinks ashore

I think Hawaii is best seen on a land vacation. Now picking which Island that is the question.
