Question Part 2 0f 2 ~ Destinations you are SERIOUSLY Considering within the Next 3 Years?

It's FUN to discuss what we might like to do if we won the LOTTERY ... but ...

REALISTICALLY, which destinations are you SERIOUSLY considering within the next three years?

Also, it could possibly be helpful to CLF (Tim, etc. ) to know which are of the most interest to its members.

Do make comments PLEASE if you wish!

Bob is seriously looking at a transatlantic for the spring since we had to cancel our spring transatlantic this year. Got the OK from his cardiologist today.

We can't either, so realistically we have to leave from a port in Florida. We want to do the Panama Canal again, really enjoyable. The second one would probably any place that is at least 10 days long, although my next cruise is 10 days, the 2 after that are booked is 2 days and 7 days.

Voted for Europe, Mediterranean (as if Europe wasnt in the Med or visa versa)

We have 1 Mediterranean cruise booked for next year and a Northern Europe cruise booked already.
In 2010 we are thinking about either a Baltic (Northern Europe) or a Norwegian Fjords (Nothern Europe) cruise.
2011 we want to do a Trans Atlantic.

If we are being realistic, I can't check anything here...
    Not terribly interested in NE/Canada.
The others al require an overseas flight... which isn't going to happen for us.

DH put his foot down after our trip to Europe a few years back.."Never again!"

I DID finally get him to fly to San Juan for a S Caribbean, but after that, he put his OTHER foot down.

We sure do enjoy the Caribbean, though.
And surprise of surprises, HE has started talking about Alaska. So, we'll see.

REALISTICALLY - we are going to the South Pacific next year...back to Tahiti again.

And DH said (out of the blue) that he wants to cruise down the Nile, something I have been saying I have wanted to do for a long time. But now that it's his idea it's much more realistic!

Ever since he talked to one of the firefighters at work last year who wanted to move to Australia after retirement, my hubby decided he wanted to see Australia. So it could be possible that when we are in a position to start planning a cruise, it may be the one that goes between Auckland and Sydney. Major considerations: the cost and length of flights (would be most costly than the actual cruise) and the time of year we could go (only during our girl's winter break as there doesn't seem to be many, if any, options during the summer).
