Well orginally I was looking at doing another RCL cruise but due to their non-responsive with my excursion experience, I will be looking at other lines.
Just fancy going under sail on a long crossing, it is 16 nights with only a couple of ports...almost at the will of the wind (they do have engines if need be). Maybe a case of wanting to step right back to basics, perhaps
Sounds like it will be fun for you. My wife and I prefer the style of the luxury cruises like Celebrity or Cunard. The sailing ships are too informal and casual for me!

Isn't it amazing that guest relations response to questions is the biggest reason for people to abandon a line? After all that advertising to attract new customers, you would think they would learn to spend a little money to keep their current (and formerly loyal) base.

Celebrity, Oceania, and Disney. We just got off the Disney Wonder and it was a nice cruise, but wasnt nearly as good as Oceania. But we have 2 small kids so once the new Disney ships come online, we will do Disney again. We are doing the Baltic next year on Celebrity.

Sounds great! Are you going to take the children?
LuLu ... Visit SOUTH CAROLINA!
11/21/09 Crown Princess 2/18/10 Island Pricess B2B Ft.Lauderdale to Acapulco and back (total 20 days)
OVER 40 (started young) Princess, Celebrity, RCCL, HAL, NCL, Costa, Disney, Carnival, Sitmar (Princess bought), and (a very long time ago) SS Bahama Star
We're booked on the Celebrity for the Mediterranean later this year.
Princess is our regular cruise line so we'll do something with them.
We will do at least one of each of the following since we haven't tried them and have heard a lot about them: Holland, Carnival, and Crystal.
Sorry, no RCCL for us, not after their swine flu cruise to hell froze over, a total waste of money.
Voting for this poll CLOSES in less than 2 weeks (9/13/09) ... so if you haven't voted ... and/ or ... would like to to make another comment ... NOW would be a great time to do so.
Many thanks to all who have taken the time to participate!

We went on a Celebrity cruise in the Mediterranean last year. It was our first Celebrity cruise, and we thought it was very nice. I think you'll like it.

But, the big question is "Are the premium cruise lines really worth the extra money?" I noticed that Regent has some great deals right now (free air, free second person, free excursions). It almost makes them competitive.
