Have definitely changed my mind about HAL. After the latest letter, I put them definitely in the "not on your life" category. Way too little too late and they still have an attitude that they have done nothing wrong.

In the next 12 months I have 3 RCL's and 1 Princess. After that I am open to most lines. NCL would not be on the top of the list but I have learned not to say never.

With so many changes happening with RCL I am taking a wait and see attitude. The vast majority Of our cruises in the last 13 years have been with them We have enjoyed them very much and hope the product will remain as good as it has been. We are trying Princess again after a mildly disappointing cruise with them a couple years ago. We have not been on a HAL ship in 13 years and it may be time to give them a try if the right opportunity comes up.

With the cruise market being soft I will probably not be booking anything very far out for the next couple years.

Now I have to hope hubby doesn't feel too down after his workplace announces what cuts will happen in the coming fiscal year. He doesn't have to worry about being laid off as long as they go by seniority. But it looks like those who are staying will have to contribute a higher percentage to the pension fund from now on (which apparently goes against the contract he and others have hired under, but how imagine fighting that now?).

Because after all we've gone through, we need a cruise.

Yes, Patty, you do! All I can say is that you'll never regret the time you have not cruised and taken care of your MIL!

My DH's parents + some of my older relatives NEEDED us here so we didn't leave the country for about three years at one point. Now, we go where we wish without guilt! I'll always be happy we did this.

I love Carnival. Never any real problems (they correct anything immediately). I'm addicted; can't help myself!

Several Interested.....

We very much enjoy the style and elegant Cunard.

We have not did not like the current new fleet of the HAL.

We are also considering RCCL in the future due to past responses from others. Also it comes our of Cape Liberty
near us - NJ.

Also coming out of Brooklyn, Princess Line. Good words heard.

My parents liked the upscale Regent-Regency Line.

Have you thought about Celebrity? They also go into and out of Cape Liberty.

I voted already... LOL...but...

Let's see I currently only have two cruises booked, Princess and Carnival OOOPS... nope I have three booked, add NCL to that

We will cruise MSC again without a doubt... and are definitely planning a MED cruise on them 2011... as a grad gift to my daughter, son and dh's 40th (yeah he is young)

I don't know what we will be doing yet for 2010.... other than my NCL cruise for May... I will need at least one if not two more for 2010!
