HOMESICK ... How long on a cruise before you want to go home?

What is the longest time you realistically WANT to be away from home on a cruise?

Honestly I would live on one, If I wanted to see family we could get off for a visit or bring them on board to visit for a week
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

This past spring we were gone for 33 days on a b2b and a few days in Rome. It was too long for both Bob and me. We started wanting to go home after about 3 weeks, so I would say 3 weeks is our limit. Perfect is a 2 weeks cruise with a few days visiting our departure and arrival ports (especially across the pond).

I have voted for a month, but it would depend on where the cruise was going. I was on QE2 for a month in 2000 and was ready to go home at the end.
Although I have voted for a month, I would not say no to a 3 month world cruise if someone offered me one.

I voted Other! We have been on a 24 day cruise with a couple of extra days and I didn't get homesick! I could have stayed on the ship, so I have no idea how long it would take for me to want to go home.

I'm kinda like Sue--I think I could live on a ship!

We are seriously considering moving to a cruise ship.
We would probably work up to it starting with a couple months them maybe a year. If we still enjoy it just keep going.
