Totally AMAZED with how many have marked NEVER!

This poll has been a real SHOCKER for me!

Has it been to any of the rest of you?

I didn't have time to read everyones response, but two weeks is long enough for me. I hate their beds and I run out of money

I didn't vote because the longest we have been gone is 2 weeks and that was no problem.

LuLu, I've told my kids that I've spent their whole lives (so far) doing everything I can to make their lives the best. I've spent a fortune sending them to private school. My son is currently in his third year at the top University in Western Australia. My daughter is in her last year of high school. I've driven them to sports, ballet (daughter), camps etc. And the point is ....... I told them I expect them to both get great paying jobs and to pay for their long suffering Mum to have a cabin suite on a luxury cruiser where I'll spend 11 months a year. I figure that that's a bonus for them. They only have to look after me two weeks a year each. Anyone that they marry has got to consider an absent mother-in-law a bonus too. Don't you think

    variables

I voted other because there are so many variables - which ship, where are we going, what stops, who I'm with, what kind of room, weather, .....

longest I've done was only 5 days and I was NOT homesick on any of those

Longest I have sailed was 2 weeks and that was still too short. I choose never because I do think I could be quite content sailing around the world.

Ok I finally voted. We have been gone more then 2 weeks with no problem so 20 probably wouldn't be either. So I chose 1 month.

I voted a month but I think it would be closer to 3 weeks plus a few days, to be exact. We were on the Grandeur this past Oct/Nov for a B2B which amounted to about 22 days of being gone from home. I wasn't homesick, just ready to see my GK and family again so had to get off the ship. I'm sure I could be gone longer if family was with us.
