What kind of question is that??!!! Homesick on a cruise? NEVER! If I didn't have anything I had to get back to, I think I could probably stay forever. But if I know I've got a life waiting on the other end, 3 weeks is probably about all I could handle before I'd be ready to get back to my life.
I voted for a month but I really don't how long before I wanted to go home. I was not ready to leave at the end of a 15 day cruise but at the end of 15 days in Thailand I was more than ready to come home! I do love my own bed, have to think of the cats and would miiss my hubby since he stays home cause he doesn't like to travel anywhere.

I've only done two 7 days with another one coming up, but as much as I like traveling and because cruising is the best form of traveling I believe it would take quite a while for me to get homesick. I went with other.

I put a month even though my longest cruise is only a 9 day. However it is never enough. And I would like to try one of those month long cruises, just I am not at that point of my life where I can take 4 weeks off of work...
Maybe for a retirement gift.. .Of course I am no where near that either.
Next Cruise January 16th, 2010 - Oasis of the Seas!
The longest cruise we've taken was 15 days and on day 15, I was relaxing by the pool, while we were in Ensenada (the majority of passengers stayed onboard) and said I was ready to go home. A guy nearby said he was, too. I think that was because for the most part it was a relaxing cruise (other than the drama caused by a misbehaving extended family). But it was time to go home, and go through two weeks of holiday cards, bills, one unfortunate and unwarranted traffic citation (that took forever to clear up with help from my councilman's office).
And unfortunately, the girl had school to return to a few days later and we had other obligations too.

Would love to do a World Cruise -- 130 days -- sounds great to me. But with DH's health and all his medications -- we couldn't possibly get enough to last that long. And trying to make arrangments to get the meds in various ports -- I wouldn't even want to attempt that in case anything went wrong.
