I'm doing a 16 day transatlantic in October and I'll probably want to stowaway instead of coming home. I love cruising. I never get tired of smelling the salt air and feeling the motion of the ship. I think I was born to cruise.
    HEY! What about us?

You were on the wrong ship! I had heard about HAL beds, and now that we cruised HAL, I know what they were talking about. It was great!

Not saying you have to switch to HAL, but newer ships have better amenities and better beds.

I wrote a month, because after 14 days, I always feel like the cruise should only be half done. I used to worry about my cat, but now that we found a petsitter that she loves, we can stay away longer than 2 weeks. I think that for now a month MAY be enough time away. If it weren't for her though, I could stay away for a long, long time.

    We Really Like.....

We really like to cruise for about a 9-13 day period.

    7 is too short.

    9 is ok.

    11 need more time.

13 seems time to go home.

Of course, this is open to change in the future with
having more time to cruise and like being away from home.

If a place is good I can stay forever.

If the ship goes where you want to go when you want to go, then go.

I just realized I should clarify my answer. If I am cruising with my husband, I can stay away much longer than if I was without him. The most I want to be away from home then is a week.

Yes, Jeff, I'd miss you guys. I'd just have to buy internet minutes so I could post from the ship!!!! Truly, I think I could cruise all the time. I love it. I'll know better after I do my 16 day transatlantic in October! The longest I've ever cruised was 10 days and I KNOW I didn't want to get off the ship.

We did a 16 day transatlantic and it was like two cruises in one: the 7 seadays, then intensive Mediterranean ports. Enjoy!

Well I wouldn't go so far as to buy internet minutes.

I'm very excited about it. The longer the cruise, the happier I am!
