We're planning to stay on the ship in Grand Cayman this time. Will probably take advantage of in-port discounts in the spa. And otherwise work on the tan I was too busy to get last time.

    Good poll, Collin.

We usually take advantage of whatever onboard activities are being held. Some cruiselines do offer a pretty full schedule of games and activities when in port. And some lines pretty much shut down the daytime activities till late in the afternoon. I think more of the frequent cruisers are opting to miss going ashore in some ports and the cruiselines are taking note of that.

We relax on deck and enjoy the quiet
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

We usually go into town at least for a little bit even if we have been there several times. We stayed on the ship in Cozumel a couple years ago because they didn't have the docks rebuilt yet.

One time I was suffering from hay fever so I stayed in bed while hubby and the girl went into the port. But I'm guessing this doesn't count.

On our last cruise, the last day was in Ensenada, a port that I've been to more times than desired, so we got off the ship just long enough for hubby to buy something at the little marketplace on the pier. After a few photos, we got back on and after lunch, headed to the pool deck for the rest of the day. Turns out most people stayed onboard that whole day.

If it was earlier in the cruise, we might have done some laundry as there's less demand for the washers on port days.

I would lay by the pool or promenade deck relaxing with a book.

    Definitely sit by the pool.

My son, daughter and I did this in Grand Cayman last April.... there were a total of 6 people there! It was awesome...and the bar service perfect!!! LOL

Depending on my cabin....I might sit out on my balcony...if there is sun!
