The cruise line didn't but Air Canada did. I just got back from my Med/Greek Isles cruise and was without my "essential" items, until a week later when I got my luggage in Athens.
So far, Carnival has never lost any of our luggage. So far, we've been lucky with airlines also. We're fling again in Aug. to Miami . Hopefully Delta won't loose anything either .
