I would if the ports were what I really wanted to book in the first place... and I would have my TA on phone with RCCL.. finding a cabin that I could have without a move...if not avaible.. I would do the move.. as I heard it is a real snap when they want to keep you on board for that second sailing....
Nice poll... thanks for asking...
If your doing the B2B cruise on Carnival, I can tell you from expierance what will take place. You will recieve a letter in your cabin telling you exactly what to do, where to go, and what time.Your room stewarts will move all your luggage for you, into your new cabin, if you have to move. I personally elected to help ours. I had given the wife a dozen roses, and I wanted them moved also. Our room stewart would have done it, but I wanted to make sure the roses arrived. We had to be @ the Information desk @ 9.30 am. From there we were taken through customs, over to Carnival's desk, recieved our new S & S cards, and was escorted right back on the ship. The total process took less than 30 minutes. It was an awesome feeling, to be treated like royallty ! I loved every minute of it.
You asked would I do a B2B ? In a heart beat ! The next time I do sail on a B2B , I would want a ship that does different Itinerary's for each cruise.

David .... We took an East/West B2B on Carnival with the same cabin for both sailings. The ONLY problem we had was ... yes ... they take you directly back to the ship BUT you can't get back to your cabin until about 1:30 when the announcement is made! (The fire wall doors were locked.)
RCL does the same thing for B2B ... easy process ... but can't get back to cabin immediately.
On Princess we were always able to go DIRECTLY back to our cabin. Guess we'll find out next year if this is still true.

Thats true, You can't get back to your cabin until there through cleaning. I didn't mind that at all. We had the ship to ourselves, so we went to Lido Deck, and my favorite bar tender fixed the wife and I ,a Sail away drink to celebrate our B2B cruise. So we got us a table and enjoyed the quiet time.

We've been on a B2B2B and also a B2B. Both times we booked a guarantee and both times we were upgraded plus got the same cabin.....ah, life is good. But, we would have been ok with it if we'd had to change cabins.

If by "RCL" you mean RCI, it´s not always an easy process. On my latest b2b, there were only problems despite having booked the same cabin for both sailings.
