I'm looking forward to it. We've never booked an aft balcony before. However, we've loved the balconies that we have had. I've spent many hours, just sitting and watching the water go by. I love the activities on the ship, but sometimes you just need a little quiet!

The best aft we have had is my avatar. It was on Rhapsody of the Seas. It was awesome!

The avatar looks great. Very peaceful. This will be a different experience for me. I'm just hoping my DH doesn't complain about the long walk to the elevators. I almost chose a "hump" balcony but the pull of the aft balcony was too strong. Why not try something different? Time will tell. Besides, if DH complains, we'll just leave him at the first port.

Or just leave him on the balcony and have room service delivery!

But, do we want him to be on the ship with us if he's going to be complaining? I find complainers rather offensive. I'm cruising to relax, not listen to whining. However, since you have mentioned this option, we'll give him the choice of being put off the ship, or having room service deliver his meals. No whining allowed.

You've got a point. I'll do everyone a favor and keep him on the balcony if he's going to be naughty. No need for earplugs. After 34 years, I have no problem ignoring him.
