Alaska or the Caribbean which is best?

Two cruises to the Caribbean, 0 to Alaska. Alaska costs 30% more than the Caribbean. Guess which one I vote for?

ALASKA for sure! I love Alaska and it's worth every penny to sail there.

I want to go again! I've only been 5 times.

LOL I think you will vote for Alaska and actually sail the Caribbean!! At least I would!!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

Although Alaska is on my list of places I want to cruise to, I voted Caribbean because it's more reasonable financially for those of us on the East Coast, and it's also a great winter break for us. And there's still lots of spots in the Caribbean we haven't seen.

I voted for Alaska as I felt there's something unique about going on an Alaskan cruise. With the Caribbean, you can more easily go to a specific island and stay there and just beach it.

Alaska got my vote. Cruised both places and Alaska is more interesting. A caribbean island is an island and a beach is a beach.

I snorkel nearly every place I go. Snorkeling in Alaska doesn't sound very appealing...

That said, I'd like to do an Alaskan cruise some day. But I really think it will be back to the Caribbean immediately thereafter!

Alaska in a heartbeat for me. I'd cruise Alaska over the Caribbean anyday (well anyday in the Alaska cruising season that is).

    I really enjoy cruising Alaska.
Most years there are some deals that make the price reasonable.
I know that the cost of travel can also be a factor for those on the east coast, but we have that cost when cruising the Caribbean from out west.
