Thank you both, yes "LOVE" can be found on the high seas. And as a result, we are avid cruisers now. Absolutely our favorite way to vacation.

I voted for the caribbean. Anyplace warm gets my vote. I would love to see Alaska and I do plan to cruise their in the near future, but sun, sand and wide open ocean is the bomb.

LOL Everything was basically free on the cruise (food, entertainment etc) and altho we spent a great deal of time together, we also spent a great deal of time with a wonderful group of people we met on the cruise that week. It was a true fairy tale come true .... thanks for letting me share. We both love telling our "how we met" story.

Only one cruise to the Caribbean, but many land vacations to several islands. Zero to Alaska, but it's on my top two list after my cruise on the Glory in August. The top two are cruising Europe or Alaska in 09, decisions, decisions.

I know that problem. We were supposed to go to Alaska last year but went on a TA instead.

This is a no brainer. Alaska is cold and the Caribbean is warm. I hate cold. Maybe some day I'll do an Alaska cruise but there will be many more Caribbean cruises before Alaska.
