Do you prefer a balcony, or does it even matter?

Just wondering what everyone likes. I only book balconies because I love to wake up and have breakfast on my balcony before I face the world. What about you?

We enjoy insides, as they are much cheaper, which let's us cruise more.. We don't spend any time in our room anyway, as there are too many things to do and see...

We have always booked insides, but what I love most about a cruise, is listening to the wake, and just looking at the water!! Very relaxing!! Next year, we have booked our first aft balcony, and I can't wait!!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

We've booked both. Once you 've enjoyed a balcony it's hard to book an inside. If we do book an inside, I like to get one of the larger ones on the upper decks.

We used to book insides, but now we boo ocean view rooms. I wouldn't really want a balcony. Sure the first day I'd be all over it, but after a while I'd forget about it. The only time I'd enjoy the balcony would be if it were attached to a huge suite .

We've had oceanview, balcony and mini-suite. Given a choice, a mini-suite or higher would be our choice, but there's that old "money" thing. DW is claustrophobic to some degree, so an inside cabin is out. Balcony is our main choice. We love to have access to the fresh air without having to go up on deck.

love the balcony..............get away from the crowds, order room service and leisurely get ready for the day via balcony

be sure to take coverup on balcony when sunbathing or the cabin steward and yourself may be surprised...............shocked !

It truly does not make a difference to me. We have had inside, outside, outside (view restricted) and balcony.

If someone put a gun to my head and made me choose, I guess a balcony would be the choice . . . only because it does provide a little more room.

I think the balconey makes all the difference! We've done porthole and balconey and the balconey makes it an entirely different experience. Our last cruise was without the balconey because we brought our 5 kids and had 3 cabins, so cost was a factor - needed the biggest bang for our buck. But when it's just my husband and I, we're going to spring for the balconey. It's the first place we go each morning and the last each night.
