I'm hoping it's worth the extra money. This will be our first cruise in October and we have a balcony. At twice the cost I really don't see it, but my wife insisted.

Prior to my most recent cruise, I would've said, "it doesn't matter, as long as it's an outside cabin." However, after sailing the Jewel of the Seas for 12 days with a balcony, I now have to recant that prior statement and say balconies are my thing!!!

We usually book an outside oceanview. We realized that we hardly spend any time in our room except to rest our heads for a few hours. Its cheaper that way. We could get an iside, but I'd like to at least be able to look out the window. We had a balcony once on a good deal to Hawaii, but its not really necessary for us.

I could go with an outside - I Need a window - but I prefer a balcony. My husband needs a balcony, so that's what we book. Since the more room the better, yes, we enjoy a suite, but I also get nervous if they cost a lot.

I keep telling myself that the day I win the lottery jackpot, I'll go for the largest suite on the ship!

I love to have a full suite ( but who doesn't) but can't afford it. We always have to have at least a mini-suite, love the room plus I love the full bath tub.. Yes I do love to soak on my cruise's

I looooove my balcony! I'm there first thing in the morning, last thing at night and often in between. We had an inside on our first cruise and a balcony on our second. After that, we both decided that the balcony (mini suite on Princess) was well worth the money.
