Question Poll Of The Day 8/31/05 - Purchasing Pictures

When onboard, do you purchase Portraits from the photographer? Portraits being those pictures where you staind in front of a backgraound and they pose you, like they do on formal nights. They then put it in a 8x10 frame. Or maybe you purchase thier other pictures. Or, maybe you don't purchase thier pictures at all.

Shoot! I forgot to allow multiple choices and now it won't let me!

I don't buy any!! I don't like posed shots!! So we take lots of pics and I enlarge the ones I like!!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

It's always our intention to NOT buy any pictures. In face we avoid letting them even take our picture. So why are there various photos we've bought from the ships photographer about our house? We do end up buying a few. With the coupons we get what ever we can for free!

We usually buy 1 formal picture. We place it in front of the last formal picture.
It's very interesting comparing all the past formal pictures .

W usually buy one or two pictures from formal night, but that's it. Last cruise, one of my friends took pictures of the pictures and printed them out at home. They actually turned out quite nice too!

If we see one we like, we'll buy it, but for the most part don't bother. We did on the first two cruises we took and now have more than enough "cruise" pictures.

Just about word for word what I would say. I do have a digital camera and will always find a willing person to take a picture. I don't like the posed cruiseline photos, but will of course pose. When I get home I dowload, play around to enhance, then will get prints made of any that are good enough.
