When is the best time to cruise the med?

My vote isn't on past knowlege, it is on my hope for my upcoming cruise!

I spent a couple of weeks in Italy in September a couple of years ago, and the weather was fantastic. It would be the time of year I'd like to cruise the Med if I could.

i.d personally go either june or september.

If I remember correctly, it is rainier in thoses areas after September. When we have been in Barcelona in October and November it was coolish and rainy.

I voted for Aug/Sept as that is when we are going. Looks like that is the most popular by the votes so far.

September is a great month -- beautiful weather -- fewer children.

September is the perfect month. It's before the rainy season starts and the temperatures are usually in the 70s. The first part of August may be a little too warm.

We've also cruised in late April, early May and those are good times too.

In other words, spring and fall are the best times.

We always travel to Europe in June.

I voted for October to March.
The weather is still pleasant tho I might want to avoid December and January.
July and August is to warm and its also when the majority of Europeans have their holidays.
The low or shoulder season is for me the best time as the sites, museums etc that I want to visit isn't over crowded.
