I'm your first voter! I voted for the longer the better! Of course, there aren't too many longer than 14 days! Actually, I probably mis-voted because I just realize that there are VERY LONG cruises out there and that is not what I meant!
To clarify, in the winter, except for our first cruise, the shortest one we have taken has been 11 nights. If they had offered a 14 nighter, we would have chosen that. Our next cruise, a transatlantic will be 16 nights. This will be our longest ever.
I guess I should have said 8 to 14 days instead of 12- 14 days....it would have been better...Oh well I said my head was in the clouds.

I made the change for you.
To us 10 days is about perfect but the vast majority of our cruises have been 7 day.

We find the 10 day cruise a perfect length. Our first couple were 7 days and we didn't find that we were ready for it to end. It takes a couple of days to wind down and relax into it, then you've only got 5 left. Back to Back 7 day cruises would be good too, if they were different itineraries.
We really like 14 day cruises! Long enough without being too long!
When they get too much longer, have to admit to getting a little bit homesick....

Our last cruise was 15 days, which seemed just the right length for us. In fact, while in the hot tub on the last day (like most everyone else, no interest in Ensenada), someone else said, "yep, it's time to go home, just perfect." I felt the same way, I would probably be antsy being away any longer. And a week long cruise just doesn't seem long enough now. And hubby was agreeing a few months ago when we were talking about length of cruises.
Definitely, the 3 to 4 day ones we had, weren't long enough. You spend an hour or two to get onboard and the last morning is all about leaving.

7 day cruises are great. We're going on an 8-day cruise in July, which I think will be even better. I've always thought one more day would make those 7-day cruises great. Now I'll find out.
I voted for the 8-14 days, although we have taken longer cruises and loved them! 24 days is our longest... 14 day transatlantic and 10 day Caribbean back to back. By that time I was ready to live on the ship!
