We live 50 miles from the Port of LA. So it's the most convenient to us (also Long Beach is driveable). The only thing is that there's only so many types of cruises that leave from here (the Mexican Riviera, Baja, and Hawaii) that we can do. Panama Canal and repo cruises are at the wrong time of year for us.

We are 15 minutes from Port Everglades, 40 minutes from Miami, 4 hours drive to Tampa, and 3 hours to Port Carnaveral. Of course we prefer Ft Lauderdale's Port Everglades, or the Port of Miami.

Good Poll ... but could not vote. We live in SC (NOT land locked). Still, we rather DRIVE to ports in Florida (6 - 9 hours) to get the cruises we want .
