How far in advance would you book if available ?

Just curious. We are booked for '09 already, and I think I could book for 2010,and 2011 as well if it were open for booking . Can't help it ,I'm a planner.

I would book as soon as it opened up if I knew it was the ship and itinerary I wanted!!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

I agree with Sue. The more I have to look forward to, the better I feel. And having said that, I better get busy and find one

We have booked as far out as 2 years, but now our "to do" list has dwindled down and we look for the deals whenever they pop up. I voted for 1 year.

We book with the cruise line opens the books and that's usually 1-1/2 years away. We already have a cruise booked for March 2009 to South America. Oh, that's 2 years away. Opps, I voted wrong. I keep thinking about transatlantic cruises and they don't open those books earlier than 1-1/2 years.

We booked our last cruise 13 months ahead (not sure when it opened for booking) as it was a holiday cruise, which tends to be in high demand.

We booked our cruise from Hawaii to Vancouver on the Spirit 25 months out. I think it was the day it came out. I have seen a Panama Canal cruise that looks great this year ,if it was open for 2010 ,I would book it !

Knowing that we like certain cabins, we book as far in advance as possible. Once we know a cruise is available - we book it.

Mine is not so much of a time frame as it is more like I don't like having more than 2 deposits out there. Since we cruise twice a year that sort of puts me in the 1 year category.

If I don't know the answer I'm fairly certain I can find it.

I allways liked to book as soon as possible which was allways over a year ahead.
