Question Poll Of The Day 8/26/06 - Vintage, Old Style, New, etc?

Which kind of ship do you prefer to cruise on?

Vintage = Queen Mary, Norway, Posiden, etc.

Old Style = Typically Built in the 1980s or early 90s. Jubilee, etc.

New = Bigger, Faster, made of glass. May look like floating building or a hotel. May focus your attention inward instead of to the sea. Don't mind that it does not resemble a 'ship'.

    Yacht Type = Windjammer type.

I voted for new, I love the voyager class promenade. I love the old style too.
Actually any ship is better than no ship at all

I voted for Old STyle but I don't think the Radiance Class ships are covered by this or any category.............certainly not the Freedom or Caribbean Princess etc............

New is the best for me. I guess I'd deal with an old one if I had to. I did two years ago on the Horizon. It wasn't the worst, just not a lot to do. Luckily I had friends to keep me busy . And I don't think you'd ever catch me on a vintage ship .

Hey - I voted for none of the above. I like newer ships that aren't too big. Anything that holds more than 2k freaks me out.....The M Class on Celebrity is about as big as I will get. That's only if we traveling alone though. If in the future we're forced to go with Radisson or Silversea because the crowds get too much...then we probably will.

BUT that's not to say I won't go on a big new ship if we're with a bunch of people - where being with a big group isn't so "stand -outish."

So I voted for none because I couldn't vote for all.
