On another website, once again, there is a heated debate about dress code. In a few days, they have managed to chalk up 224 posts. So, I thought that here, in the civilized world, we could entertain ourselves with the topic! So, here goes the poll!

Oh no! I cancelled the poll because I thought it was really stupid!!!

Well, I vote for formal nights to be Formal wear. Casual should be just that, but I draw the line at shorts in the dinning room. Smart Casual should be should be trousers, shirt, and a jacket if you want with tie optional.
What my dear wife wears is up to her. You can tell her she wrong if you want.
Thats my view and I try to stick to the dress code. Having spent 24 years in the Army if we went to a function with a certain Dress Code then thats how we dressed. Even down to Ladies having to wear dresses that were either:
Floor lenght, Ankle lenght, or below the knee. On very few occassions were Ladies ever allowed to wear outfits with trousers / pants. (not sure what you call them)
That should get us all started and I will vote if the OP puts a poll.
At this time I cannot think of anything profound to say
POST THE POLL!

I'm with you Wizard
Is/was your name Merlin on CC?

I have it on good authority that you were unjustly crucified for standing up for your privacy.

I'll try. But it will take me some time because I would like to make it good!
